Moonbeamtoys is a small studio making slow, safe toys for early years — wooden stackers, soft plush companions, and open-ended play sets chosen for how they wear in, not how they photograph.
The studio
Every toy passes through four sets of hands before it finds yours.
We design for little fingers that chew, drop, and rediscover the same toy thirty times in one afternoon. Our wood is kiln-dried, sanded smooth to a soft-touch grade, and finished with food-grade oils. Our plush cores are hypoallergenic fill, stitched at 8 passes per inch so seams hold through the laundry cycles that always come.
Nothing we sell is electronic, flashing, or loud on purpose. The quiet is the point.

What materials and finishes do you use?
Our wooden toys are made from sustainably sourced maple and beech, kiln-dried for stability, then sanded and finished with food-grade linseed oil or beeswax. Plush toys use organic cotton outers with hypoallergenic polyester fiberfill cores. Every product page lists the exact materials and any applicable safety certifications.
What age ranges are your toys made for?
Each product is labeled with a recommended minimum age. Our teething and stacking pieces are designed for six months and up, soft plush companions from birth, and open-ended play sets from one year up. Age ranges reflect small-part safety guidelines and developmental fit, not a hard ceiling — many toys stay in rotation for years.
How should I clean wooden and plush toys?
Wooden toys can be wiped with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air-dried. Avoid soaking, dishwashers, or harsh cleaners, which can raise the grain. Plush toys are machine-washable on a gentle cold cycle in a laundry bag and should be air-dried to preserve shape. A care card with these instructions ships inside every order.
What's your return and exchange policy?
Unopened toys in original condition can be returned within 30 days of arrival. Gently used pieces fall outside the standard return window but may qualify for exchange on a case-by-case basis — email the studio with your order number and photos. Personalised or custom-engraved items are final sale.
